Ben 10 Triple Threat – Children’s Book – iPad App Giveaway

Designed for three to seven year olds, Frog Dog Media brings the cast of Ben 10 characters to the iPad, iPhone and iPod in Ben 10 Triple Threat.

After enlisting the help of my friend’s first grade son, Alex and I spent some time together reading Ben 10. Despite the fact that this app includes no animation or interactive features, the usually active Alex was content to just sit and enjoy the story. The Read to Me mode let him control the movement through the story as he listened and watched the words being highlighted as they were read. After the reading on each page was finished, he could turn it at his own pace, moving as fast or slow as he wanted. Auto Play was similar, in that he got to listen and watch the highlighted words, but in this mode, the page turning was also automated. Read it Myself obviously lets kids read on their own and all three of these reading modes add value to the reading experience for kids from preschool to second grade.
